About this Service

What is MOBIRY?
  • MOBIRY is a service that allows you to purchase digital tickets for streetcars, buses, and ferries in the Hiroshima area.
  • After you have purchased a digital ticket, simply display it on your smartphone to show to the driver and/or crew members when using it.
  • This service is convenient both for visitors traveling to Hiroshima and for everyday live in the city.
What do I need to use MOBIRY?

A smartphone (with an Internet connection) and credit card are required to purchase and use a digital ticket.

This service uses your smartphone’s web browser, and therefore you are not required to download an app.

Can MOBIRY be used on a PC?

A PC can only be used to purchase digital tickets.

Digital tickets cannot be used or displayed on a PC.
A smartphone is required to use your digital ticket.

About this Ticket

When should digital tickets be presented to drivers and/or crew members?

Please show your digital ticket to the driver and/or crew member when you exit the streetcar or bus.
However, for the “Hiroshima Airport Limousine Bus” and “Meipuru-pu” sightseeing loop bus, please show your digital ticket to the driver when boarding.

For one-way and round-trip tickets, such as for express buses and airport limousine buses, press the Activate button just before presenting your digital ticket to the driver.

Note that your ticket will be visible on your smartphone for only 5 minutes after you press the Activate button.

How many days in advance can you buy a digital ticket?

Digital tickets can be activated no later than 90 days from the date of purchase. Once the activation period has passed, the ticket can no longer be used.

My activated digital ticket expired while I was still on board a streetcar/bus. Can I no longer use this digital ticket?

That digital ticket can no longer be used.

Please note that even if your digital ticket was valid when you boarded, it will not be accepted if it has expired when you exit the streetcar/bus.

If this happens, please pay your fare in cash or with a prepaid IC card.

If I ride a streetcar/bus into an area that is not covered by my digital ticket, how should I pay the fare?

Please pay for the portion of your fare that is not covered by your digital ticket either in cash or with a prepared IC card.

From what age is a child fare required for children?

Child fares apply to elementary school students (children 6 or older and younger than 12).

Can a digital ticket be used offline?

This service is not available offline.
An Internet connection is required.

Can I get a receipt?

When you purchase a digital ticket, a receipt is sent to the email address you provided.

Receipts cannot be reissued.

How can I get a refund?

To get a refund, on the Login Screen select “View/Use Purchased Tickets.” Select a ticket on the “Not Yet Activated” tab, and then select “Refund.”

A separate prescribed fee is charged for each person’s ticket that is refunded.

A digital ticket that has been activated cannot be refunded.

About Optional Tickets

What are optional tickets?

You can purchase optional tickets when you purchase a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass.
* What is a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass?

  • Optional tickets can also be purchased after a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass has been purchased.
    * Either before the Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass has been activated, or within the period of validity for a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass that has been activated.
  • Optional tickets can be used only within the period of validity for your Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass.
  • If an optional ticket that is linked to a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass is used before the pass has been activated, the Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass will be activated automatically.

If the Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass that is linked to an optional ticket expires, can the optional ticket still be used?

When a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass expires, all optional tickets linked to that pass also expire at the same time.

How can I get a refund on an optional ticket?

You can get a refund on an optional ticket only if the ticket is unused and the activation period has not passed.

  • If an optional ticket that is linked to a Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass is used before the pass has been activated, you cannot get a refund on the Visit Hiroshima Tourist Pass.
  • A refund will not be issued for the unused portion of a round-trip ticket once activated.

About User Account

How can I change my e-mail address/password?

To change your e-mail address and/or password, on the Login Screen select “Account” and then “View/Change Account Information.”

For Google and Facebook accounts, your e-mail address and password cannot be changed.

I forgot my password.

On the Login Screen, tap “I forgot my password,” and then enter the e-mail address registered with your account. Information about how to reset your password is automatically sent to your e-mail address.

Can I register multiple credit cards, or change my credit card information?

You can register multiple credit cards and select which to use when making a payment.

On the Login Screen, select “Account” and “Manage Credit Cards” to edit and/or delete your credit card information.

Can I delete my credit card information?

On the Login Screen, select “Account” and “Manage Credit Cards.” Tap “Delete” to delete your credit card information.

I want to delete my MOBIRY account.

You can cancel your membership by logging in to MOBIRY and selecting “Confirm Registration Information” at the bottom of the page.
To cancel your membership, check the “I agree to the above” checkbox and select the “Cancel Membarship” button.

Name, e-mail address, password, and registered credit card information will be deleted.
After you cancel your membership, you will not be able to use any tickets you have purchased, regardless of whether they are unused or in use.
